Welcome to the first ever giddy up segment
where we are going to blaze new trails.
2
:This is part of saddle up live.
3
:And on Thursdays, I'm just going to
have a little, um, giddy up segment
4
:where I might talk about the podcast
the week before a little bit, I may
5
:even give you little tips on what my.
6
:Favorite, um, items are
and have links to them.
7
:So it's going to be a fun little
tiny segment that goes real quick.
8
:And this week I want to talk a
little bit about an amazing guest
9
:that I had on saddle up live.
10
:His name was Ed Margo, and
he was such a sweet man.
11
:He's a Papa of five girls.
12
:So that makes him good.
13
:Right.
14
:And, um, he had been through
something really hard.
15
:Where his mother was a Korean
immigrant and she had relocated here.
16
:And when he was a little boy, his mom
lost custody of him and his brothers
17
:and sisters due to financial issues.
18
:And, you know, there were other issues
with language barriers and et cetera,
19
:but he shares his authentic story.
20
:And.
21
:One thing that I really loved
about our conversation is Ed.
22
:He is dedicated to helping women
after what he's been through,
23
:and he wants to help women have
a really good mindset about money
24
:and I need help in that area too.
25
:So I'm thinking if I do,
maybe some of you do, and.
26
:what we kind of talked about and what
I've learned through my coaching and
27
:all that good stuff is that you need to
have a really good mindset about money.
28
:And it's not easy because there's lots
of reasons why women might feel, um,
29
:I'd have different ideas about money.
30
:It could be societal.
31
:It could be many, many different things.
32
:But if you can change your
mindset so that you have a belief.
33
:And this is what I always do.
34
:I am a woman learning about finances.
35
:And when I think that it makes me take
action because it switches my feelings.
36
:Sometimes I can get overwhelmed and
think it money is scary or money is hard
37
:and really money is just neutral and we
don't have to have feelings tied to it.
38
:You got to feel them.
39
:You got to work through them.
40
:You got to look at the thought
behind them so that you can change
41
:that to something you believe.
42
:And that's where I've got, I am
a woman learning about finances
43
:and how to be financially smart.
44
:And it has helped me to take action.
45
:I'm still learning.
46
:I'm still not great at it,
but it's the first step.
47
:I think in so many things, if you can.
48
:change that mindset that can get
you to take that massive action.
49
:That's what Tony Robbins always
talks about is massive action.
50
:And I still believe in that, but I
believe that to enjoy it and to actually
51
:get to the point where you can do
it, you need to have a good mindset.
52
:So ladies, if you want to hear more,
go back to that episode with Ed.
53
:It's so good.
54
:He's so good.
55
:Such a dear, um, I think you're
really going to love it and I think
56
:you're going to learn something.
57
:And he also talks about how to
raise, um, kids, you know, so they're
58
:financially well adjusted and have,
um, maybe better feelings than
59
:you do about it in their future.
60
:And we all want that.
61
:So thank you so much for being here.
62
:Take good care.
